Overview

Penny Pro (“the app”, “we”, “our”) is a personal finance tracking application developed by Rz. This Privacy Policy explains how Penny Pro handles your information.

Short version: Penny Pro does not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. All your financial data stays on your device.

Information We Collect

We collect nothing. Penny Pro does not:

Collect personal information (name, email, phone number, address)
Collect financial information (income, expenses, transaction details, account balances)
Track your location
Use analytics or tracking SDKs
Share data with advertisers
Sell data to third parties
Use cookies or similar tracking technologies
Require account registration or sign-in
Connect to any cloud server or remote backend

Where Your Data Lives

All financial data you enter into Penny Pro — including transactions, categories, budgets, goals, and settings — is stored exclusively in your device’s local storage. This data:

Never leaves your device unless you explicitly export it
Is not backed up to any cloud service by us
Is deleted permanently if you uninstall the app
Cannot be accessed by us, our employees, or any third party

Network Access

Penny Pro requires Internet access for one optional feature only: live currency exchange rates. When you enable currency conversion, the app fetches public exchange rate data from third-party providers (ExchangeRate-API, Open Exchange Rates, or similar). No personal data is sent in these requests — only a generic API call for current rates. If you do not need currency conversion, the app works fully offline.

Exports and Backups

Penny Pro lets you export your data as CSV, Excel, or PDF files. These files are saved to your device’s local storage at your direction. Penny Pro does not upload these exports anywhere. What you do with the exported files is your responsibility.

Permissions

Penny Pro requests the following Android permissions:

Internet — only for fetching live currency exchange rates (optional feature)
Storage — to save your exported CSV/Excel/PDF files when you request an export

We do not request access to contacts, camera, microphone, location, SMS, call logs, or any other sensitive permissions.

Children’s Privacy

Penny Pro is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. The app is intended for general audiences age 13 and above.

Third-Party Services

The only third-party services Penny Pro contacts are public currency exchange rate APIs (used only when you enable live currency conversion). These APIs return only rate data and do not receive any personal information from you. We do not embed any advertising, analytics, crash reporting, or tracking SDKs from third parties.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this Privacy Policy, the “Last updated” date at the top will be revised. Any changes will be reflected on this page, which is the canonical source. Significant changes will be noted in the app’s update notes.
